AFCOM: Ambassadors for Christ Outreach Ministry Inc. is a Christian faith based, community service organization created in 1998 to assemble and encourage young Christians to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ by serving disadvantaged/ ‘forgotten' communities in southern Westchester. It is a member/volunteer-based organization that combines cultural and educational workshops, art presentations and Christian literature dissemination. Collaborating with various non-profit organizations, the programs goals are: to spread the positive message of the gospel of Jesus Christ through aesthetic and sundry ways, to aid in increasing health and nutrition awareness through food projects, to provide access to creative, Christian arts through outreach programs and to act as a referral to various social service resources in the surrounding communities. AFCOM is a 501c3 organization.
