that void can only be filled by Jesus Christ.

 

AFCOM: Ambassadors For Christ Outreach Ministry Inc. has been and is becoming all that the Lord allowed me to envision and more. In May of 1997, I felt the press and urgency for evangelism; in June of 1998, God began to give me the plan to fulfill this great commission. As a result, AFCOM was formed.

I just want to stress the seriousness of this ministry. This is not another powerless non-profit organization or commit­tee; it is a divine work of God. What we do in this organi­zation is what Jesus Christ ordained us to do as young saved Christians — to use our talents S. creativity together with the Word of God to draw souls to our Lord and God, Jesus Christ and make a positive impact on the lives of all we encounter.

The Lord revealed to me even in the first meeting of AFCOM in September 1998, that this ministry is greater than I expected. As we began to pray, God began to show me the importance of the ministry – even our name. As Ambassadors for Christ, we stand in God’s stead, we are his representatives. When we said Yes to work in this orga­nization we accepted the appointment to be his representa­tives.

We,  AFCOM, want to be that light in the world reminding and telling people that there is a better way, that life is worth living productively, and that each person has a purpose and potential to be fulfilled through Christ Jesus.
