Mission

AFCOM is a Christian faith based, community service organization serving at risk youth who are struggling with poverty, homelessness and lacking necessary resources to succeed. The mission is to provide long term support, resources, entrepreneurial skills and leadership training to impact positive change and meet the immediate need of these disadvantaged youth.

How Do We Fulfill Our Mission?

Through direct service and collaborations with youth, homeless and infirmed serving organizations, AFCOM :

• Provides a consistent supply of volunteers to our organization partners
• Facilitates “Options” life skills workshops to incarcerated, runaway and homeless youth
• Amasses and disseminates necessary supplies, food, toiletries to youth locally and internationally
• Hosts outreach events that provide food, groceries, backpacks, health services and inspirational entertainment to the community
• Trains youth between the ages of 14-22 to be community leaders in the AFCOM Youth Council, a peer leadership and community service group.
